Sound familiar? It might. The Book of Revelation ends the same way. Given the number of honest errors in copying as well as the “optimistic” revisions in translation over the centuries, I have a feeling that those who penned these words originally were merely indulging in wishful thinking.
What’s important is that we realize that, no matter how diligent we are, there comes a time when we need to strip away the accumulated debris of centuries and return to the core Message of the Christ – that we are in an inseverable agapé relationship with God.
