Without Partiality or Hyposcrisy

A progressive Christian thought on James

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy. James 3:17

Wow, that’s quite a list isn’t it?

What struck me in particular though was the last bit – without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.

None of us is perfect, and none us can lay claim to the “purity” that would enable us to live such a life. But how much closer would the “kingdom of heaven” be if we were just a little more intentional in our efforts to be “full of mercy and good fruits”?
